Bidisha De Majumdar, a Bengali actress spotted dead in her own apartment in Kolkata. She was found hanging in her residence. The police entered and sent the body to RG Kar hospital for postmortem and for the further investigation. She also wrote a suicide note before hanging herself which then police found.
However, the police is investigating and are gathering information from Bidisha’s family and close friends. But the police are suspecting this to be a suicide case. Hearing the actress suicide news, the whole country is in shock.
The actress rented this flat four years back. She was a famous model which then turned into famous actress. Consequently, she became an actress after her acting debut with a short film called ‘Bhaar- The Clown’. The movie was directed by Anirbed Chattopadhyay starring actor Debraj Mukherjee.
Accordingly, Actor Suman Dey, feeling shocked said that this is a shocking news and truly saddening for him. He also said that this is the time one should give importance to mental health and talk about their issues to lessen stress. Also, he stated that whenever he see a newcomer, he always request them to be patient and not to take stress. According to him, every person should share their problems with someone, be it best friend, sibling or parents.
