As per the news floating around the internet, it claims that Wong appears to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s new face, or at least its heroic caretaker. According to an announcement made by Disney, Benedict Wong will reprise his role as the Sorceror Supreme Wong in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. That makes him the MCU’s Phase 4 character with the most recurring appearances.
Wong’s Phase 4 appearances started with a cameo in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. He was also featured in the film What If…? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Therefore, this indicates that Wong has already appeared in five Marvel Studios projects in this timeframe, including She-Hulk.
According to the sources, we came to know that Benedict Wong had made a joke in an earlier interview. Wong told Empire Magazine for May’s issue 400: “I call it Phase Wong. It’s a nice, interesting shift. Wong has taken on a new role, and that dynamic changes between them [Wong and Strange] both,”
In this show, cast members including Wong are Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo will play the Hulk, and Tim Roth will play Emil Blonsky/the Abomination. Jessica Gao serves as the show’s head writer, while Kat Coiro and Anu Valia direct various episodes. Beginning August 17, 2022, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be available on Disney+. It is also worth mentioning that Ms. Marvel will premiere on June 8, 2022, while Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere on July 8, 2022, before that series begins.
