Singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck tied knot in Las Vegas after rekindling their romance over 20 years after their initial meeting, according to reports on Sunday.
The couple announced their wedding in a newsletter from Lopez, stating that they travelled by plane to the Nevadan desert city to obtain a marriage license and were married there in a church late on Saturday.
“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted,” Lopez stated in the newspaper.
They were granted a marriage license in Clark County on Saturday, July 16, according to information on the document released online by the county clerk’s office.
Lopez shared a picture of herself in bed with a silver wedding ring on social media.
After over 20 years, Affleck and Lopez, the famous couple known as “Bennifer,” reconciled in 2017. In April of this year, they announced their engagement.
