New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on July 12, 2022) follows:
Used by millions worldwide, Roku offers powerful feature-packed media streaming devices at an affordable price.
In the first quarter of 2021, it had more than 61.3 million monthly active users in the United States alone, which is impressive considering they doubled their user base in a span of just two years.
However, recent reports from Roku users suggest that BBC iPlayer is not working or throwing error code 02056. Neither Live TV nor recorded programs are working.
As it turns out, Roku yesterday pushed an update that was to fix the very same issue.
But a day later after many users reported BBC iPlayer was still not working on Roku, they added it back to the list of bugs and issues under investigation.
Let us hope the developers working on the problem soon find out why this is happening and fix the BBC iPlayer not working issue in the coming days.
As always, we will be updating this space when we come across further developments so keep checking PiunikaWeb.
