Developed and published by Grapeshot Games, Atlas is a massive multiplayer online game where participants can embark on adventures alongside thousands of other players.

Players can build ships, assemble crews and search for buried treasures or plunder other players’ loot.

It also offers extensive customization features, allowing players to build their ships piece by piece and decide where they want their guns and planks to be.

The title is currently available on PC and Xbox and has been in early access since December 2018. It is designed to handle 40,000 players at once with the map divided in grids.

But according to recent reports from Atlas players, it looks like the game is crashing on Xbox (1,2,3,4,5).

Common troubleshooting steps such as restarting the console and reinstalling the game haven’t helped either. Atlas players on Xbox are seemingly frustrated and wondering when the crashing issue will be resolved.

As it turns out, Atlas developers have acknowledged the crashing issue on Xbox and said they are working to fix the problem. But there is no word on when it will be fixed.

We also came across a workaround that might help those affected by the problem. It requires players to log out before crossing into another region.

We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and implement a fix as soon as possible.

Until then, we will be keeping tabs on further developments on the matter and let you know once Atlas developers fix the crashing issues on Xbox so stay tuned for updates.
