Offerings are a kind of recurring Mystery in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that requires the player to perform some feat of hunting or fishing before laying the freshly caught bounty of nature upon an altar. The Wrath of the Druids DLC possesses one of these kinds of tasks in the south of the Meath Region.
Like all Offerings, this one will grant a skill point to the player upon completing it, and out of all of them, this is arguably one of the easiest to perform. For some casual fishing action and an easy skill point, be sure to find the Rathbride Offering soon in one’s adventures in Ireland.
Where To Find The Rathbride Offering Mystery
The easiest way to locate Rathbride is to hop upon one’s longship and sail along the Liffey River in the south of Meath. If traveling from Dublin, head west until one reaches a mossy stone bridge. If journeying from Durrow, head east until one comes across this same gray stone bridge covered in moss.
This simple stone bridge is a great natural marker to take note of for both finding Rathbride, and performing the Offering, so remember it! From here, go south and it should be simple to find the altar by using Eivor’s Eagle Vision and Synin’s view from above.
Where To Find Big Sturgeon
Big sturgeon will be a bit tricky to find in most other parts of Ireland, however, the closest body of water to Rathbride happens to be full of them! Remember that stone bridge from before? That’s the perfect spot to find a ton of big sturgeon.
Since the bridge is slightly more narrow than this part of the Liffey River, it will bottleneck the flow of fish, making it easier to spot the bigger prey in the water. Use Eagle Vision liberally to scan the shallows for the largest red outlines, which will most often be big sturgeon, however, some big burbot can also be found in these waters.
Completing The Offering
It should not take too long to catch five of these bony fish, as they are well armored but have small tailfins, meaning that they aren’t able to resist the pull of Eivor’s fishing line very well. Out of all the big fish in the game, sturgeon are some of the easiest to reel in, so feel free to go nuts and harvest the bounty of this Irish river as these large fish can be sold for a decent amount of silver each.
When the player has acquired the desired number of big sturgeon, bring at least five back to the altar located south of the mossy stone bridge astride the Liffey River to perform the Offering. Interacting with the altar will complete this Mystery and grant the player a well-earned skill point.
