New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on February 01, 2022) follows:
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been dubbed as one of the best games in the decades-old franchise.
Even after two years after its release, Ubisoft is bringing new content to the game, with the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC set to release on March 10 this year.
That being said, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players say that they are facing a couple of issues trying to complete certain quests.
The Flame and the Forge
Many Valhalla players are complaining that they are unable to progress in the ‘The Flame and the Forge’ quest. Reports suggest that the cutscene is not playing after talking to Gunnar to commence his wedding.
It looks like reloading the save and restarting the game is not helping. Even loading a different save seems to make no difference.
Thankfully, Ubisoft Support Staff has shed some light on the matter and said the issue is currently under investigation. But there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.
A Brewing Storm
As it turns out, Valhalla players are unable to progress in ‘A Brewing Storm’ quest as well. Many say that the cutscene is not triggering for them when they wake up.
Fortunately, Ubisoft seems to be aware of the issue and said that it is currently under investigation.
We hope Valhalla developers find out the root cause of these issues since those affected are unable to progress in the main story. When they do, we will let you know so stay tuned.
Update 1 (February 04)
03:33 pm (IST): Assassin’s Creed team is working on a fix for the issue preventing some players from progressing through the quest. And it will be resolved in the next Title Update.
Update 2 (February 28)
01:36 pm (IST): Ubisoft Support on Twitter has confirmed that Title Update 1.50 brings a fix for the issue where players are unable to progress in ‘A Brewing Storm’ quest.
