Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft’s action and adventure game, boasts a huge world set in Norse mythology that invites you to explore every corner.
Throughout the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla you will find a wide variety of weapons and armor with different characteristics. However, some players are experiencing issues when trying to complete a particular armor.
More specifically, they are being unable to complete the Jotun armor since they are not receiving all the pieces. In addition, there are other issues related to the armor (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players not receiving Jotun armor
To receive all the Jotun armor pieces, you must defeat the 5 Suttungr’s outriders that are scattered across the Valhalla map.
But, completing all the Jotun armor is proving impossible for some Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players. Apparently, one of the 5 pieces will always be missing even after defeating all outriders.
Other issues related to the Jotun armor
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are also facing other issues related to the Jotun armor. For instance, once you complete the full armor, you should be able to cross the Jotun portal at Gomul-Stifla to get the Jotnar Cleaver Axe.
However, some players are unable to go through the portal.
Also, some players who were able to get all the pieces of the Jotun armor are experiencing a freezing issue when trying to equip it.
I’ve collected all of the Jotun armor pieces in the Dawn of Ragnarok DOC, but I still can’t go through the Jotun portal at Gomul-Stifla. It’s acting like I’m not wearing the armor, but I do t take any damage. Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix it? Source
My son is having the same issue. I haven’t collected all the armor pieces yet, so I haven’t tried it, but my daughter is able to go through just fine. Not sure what the fix is, but would like to know. He’s a bit frustrated that he can’t get the Jotun cleaver. Source
Ubisoft is already aware of the issue
The Ubisoft team has officially acknowledged the glitch and is investigating. But, there are no details on an ETA for a fix yet.
We will keep our eyes open for new related developments as they arise to update this story.
