Released last year, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the latest video game in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to AC Odyssey. It is set during the times when Vikings set their foot in the flatlands of England.

The game is visually stunning and is considered one of the best titles in the entire series. However, due to frequent updates and new content added to the game, players quite often experience bugs and issues with some making the game unplayable.

That being said, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla features several weapons with players being able to equip them whenever they want. This makes sure that the combat stays refreshing. One of the weapon types is a scythe.

While most of the scythes can be purchased or looted, Hel’s Scythe is pretty unique in the sense it was only available during the Oskoreia festival event. The event started on November 20 and will end on December 2.

According to reports from Valhalla players, it looks like many were able to redeem two Hel’s Scythe instead of one from the shop. The problem is that those who upgraded the first scythe and then bought the second, the game thought it was a new item with both scythes becoming base level again.

As it turns out, Ubisoft is aware of the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla bug with Hel’s scythe being purchasable a second time.

Moreover, a Ubisoft Support Staff has advised players to avoid selling the second scythe since it might cause some issues later on. However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.

Nonetheless, we will keep an eye out for more information on the matter and update this article as and when required.
