The King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan will no longer have to appear to the NCB office every Friday, modifications in his bail order has assured that.

Aryan Khan was arrested in a Drugs-on-cruise-ship case in the beginning of October. It caused a widespread consternation among the actor Shahrukh Khan fans and also became the centre of attention for all. He was not granted bail soon but instead spent almost 26 days in jail before he got bail on 28th October with 14 strict conditions.

One of the main condition stated that he has to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau office every Friday. But on December 9, Aryan Khan approached the court seeking modifications in the bail conditions as the case is not being investigated by the NCB.

On wednesday, a single bench of Justice Nitin Sambre allowed the waiver to not appear every week but also stated that Aryan Khan has to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Delhi provided the notice is issued prior 72 hours.

The senior advocate Amit Desai defending Aryan submitted to the court, “We are seeking modification of bail condition ‘J’ regarding attendance on Friday. Nothing is happening. Whenever they want he can be summoned. The Bombay branch is also not in the matter after SIT.”

He further argued that when the superstar’s son appears before the NCB office, there is a large crowd waiting for him which causes unnecessary hussle and he need to be accompanied by police for his safety. And as the investigations on the drugs case is not going on, some modifications were needed.

Furthermore, Justice Sambre stated that the celebrity Aryan Khan can also travel outside Mumbai but has to submit his itinerary to the investigation officer of the case beforehand.
