Aryan Khan has been sent to judicial custody by the court after hearing arguments from both sides. The court came to a verdict that they cant give more remand to the NCB after hearing the arguments.
Aryan Khan’s Lawyer argued that if drugs are found in one room, the police will not take everyone from Taj Hotel as accused. In a series of cross-questioning from both sides, ASG Anil Singh who is representing the NCB said Four additional cruise passengers have been apprehended. Commercial amounts of MD and MDMA tablets were found from them. Even after NCB’s raid on Saturday night, they were reportedly throwing a rave party on the ship. The NCB stated that these four’s statements are being recorded.
Aryan Khan has been placed in judicial detention, along with seven other suspects. Aryan Khan’s NCB detention has not been extended by the court.
The case has been sent to a session court.
Satish Maneshinde, Aryan Khan’s lawyer, has applied for interim and complete release for his client. Arbaaz Merchantt’s attorney has also requested bail.
