The hearing on Aryan Khan’s bail request in the Bombay High Court has been rescheduled until tomorrow, extending his detention for another day. The hearing will resume at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi stated during today’s arguments that Aryan Khan was a “young man” who should be sent to rehab rather than jail.
On October 3, the 23-year-old star son was arrested after Narcotics Control Bureau investigators in disguise conducted a drugs raid on a cruise ship party.
Since October 8, he has been imprisoned at Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail. His lawyers have insisted that no narcotics were discovered on him. He knew about charas placed in his companion Arbaaz Merchant’s shoe, according to the special anti-drugs court that denied him bail last week, and this amounted to “conscious possession.”
