Many iPhone users have complained that their iPhone XS Max not pairing with iPhone XS Max.  I too had faced this same issue on my iPhone XS. Whenever I try to pair my iPhone XS to Apple Watch, it didn’t pair. It was really frustrating to me. Somehow, I fixed this issue. In this article, I am going to tell you those solutions to solve this problem.

Solution 1: Enable and Disable Airplane Mode

  • Open Settings app on our iPhone.
  • Here you can see “Airplane Mode” button, turn on it.
  • Wait for 10 to 15 seconds. After that turn it on back.

Solution 2: Restart Phone

  • Press the Power Button and either Volume Up or Down Button until getting a power off slider.
  • Then drag the slider to turn off your device.
  • Wait for 20 to 30 seconds.
  • To turn on your iPhone, press and hold the Power Button until getting an Apple Logo.

Solution 3: Restart Apple Watch

  • Press and hold the side button of your Apple Watch.
  • Then you can see the “Power off” button that you drag it to the right side.
  • Wait for 5 to 10 seconds. After that, again press and hold the side button until you can see the Apple logo.

Solution 4: Reset Network Settings

  • Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  • Tap “Reset Network Settings”.
  • Enter the passcode if required.
  • Again tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 5: Unpair and Repair Apple Watch

  • Open Apple Watch App on your iPhone.
  • Tap on “My Watch” tab.
  • Next, tap your watch at the top.
  • Now, click “info button” next to your connected Apple Watch.
  • Then tap on “Unpair Apple Watch”.
  • Tap on your watch name to confirm this process.
  • Now, enter the passcode to disable Activation Lock.

Solution 6: Check for Software Update

  • Go to Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Tap “General”.
  • Scroll down the page to find “Software Update”, tap on it.
  • If a new update is available, tap “Download and Install”.
  • Then follow the instruction to complete this process.

Solution 7: Restore your iPhone in Recovery Mode via iTunes

  • First, connect your iPhone to the Mac or PC through USB cable.
  • After it connects, press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
  • Now, press and quickly release Volume Down button.
  • Then press and hold the Power/Side button until it restarts. Don’t leave this button until your phone gets into Recovery mode.
  • Release this button when you see your phone connect to iTunes.
  • In the iTunes window, it shows your iOS device is in recovery mode. There you can see two options that Update or Restore.
  • Select “Restore”.
  • You have to wait until the process is completed.
