The Cupertino-based tech giant recently added several new features like Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos. Needless to say, users were happy with the service since its competitors seem to be lacking these.

But lately, users have reported several issues with the service with some users recently reporting that the much-hyped Spatial Audio feature was not working on Apple’s M1 Mac after macOS 12 Monterey update.

User reports indicated that Monterey was causing the issue and hoped for a fix in a future build. Now, with the release of macOS Monterey 12.1, Apple Music users are reporting that the update triggered a metadata bug.

Many say that when they try to modify the metadata of any audio file, the app ignores the changes reverts to the original state.

This is really frustrating since the audio metadata of a file may be incorrect or at times users might want to change it just to organize their library.

Unfortunately, Apple is yet to say anything on the matter, so it still remains if the Apple Music metadata bug will be fixed in a future version of macOS Monterey or not.
