If you like fast-paced online multiplayer shooting games, you must have heard about Apex Legends. Developed by the same studio that brought us Titanfall, it is a Battle Royale title that was released in 2019.

That said, Apex Legends players on Xbox are complaining about input lag or delay after the 13.1 update (1,2,3,4,5).

Many say they feel the input lag is making it impossible for them to aim and land shots and that the issue persists even in the game menu.

Some have tried unplugging and replugging the controller and switching from Wi-Fi to ethernet to see if it helps but to no avail.

Below are a few reports from Apex Legends players who are experiencing input lag or delay on Xbox.

Thankfully, EA Help commented on the matter where some Apex Legends players on Xbox might experience input lag and said the developers are working on a solution. However, there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

In the meantime, those affected can try a workaround that involves swapping the controller for an older Xbox controller since it is fixing the problem for some.

Update 1 (June 28)

11:52 am (IST): In the recent acknowledgment regarding the input delayed issue on Xbox, Respawn support said that they are still investigating it. Meanwhile, players on PlayStation and PC are also reporting (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) this issue.

Update 2 (July 6)

11:41 am (IST): Respawn support has informed players that they have released a small update for Apex Legends to fix the input lag issue on Xbox.
