Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, Apex Legends is a successful multiplayer FPS that provides fast-paced gameplay in contrast to other games in the genre.

It also has a permanent game mode called ‘Arenas’ that lets you face off against the enemy’s squads allowing you to focus on surviving and winning the fight.

Apex Legends removing Arenas in Season 16

However, it has been alleged that Apex Legends is removing the Arenas Mode from the game in Season 16 and several players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) are talking about it on Twitter.

According to reports, some players are now asking for better features (LTMs, solo modes, Arcade Modes), if the team is actually withdrawing the Arenas.

Even though players had their share of issues with the Ranked Arena matchmaking system, some still want the team to retain the Arenas Mode. But the rumor says otherwise, and players might never get to play the mode again.

Owing to this, the issue has invited a number of mixed reactions from players en masse. It also includes the toxicity created by the ranking system.

So, these reports make it clear that some players actually do wish for the developers to get rid of the Arenas. While there are also some who feel that it is indeed a good mode.

Nonetheless, it’ll be interesting to note if the team ever abandons the Arenas Mode in Apex Legends.

We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update the article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
