Inspired by the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends is an online multiplayer Battle Royale title that was released in April of 2019. With more than 100 million players worldwide, it is also one of the most played video games on the planet.

Unsurprisingly, it also has an esports scene with the 2022 Apex Legends Global series having a prize pool of $1 million.

Like last year, EA has partnered up with Twitch and is awarding those who watch the PlayApex stream with drops that players can claim from the Inventory page.

That being said, Apex Legends players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that the new ALGS drops are overwriting ALGS rewards from last year.

Many say that their ALGS 2021 drops have suddenly disappeared. Some thought it was a visual glitch and tried restarting the game and verifying game files but it did not help bring back last year’s rewards.

Many are frustrated and wondering what’s the point of collecting new drops if they are going to overwrite their existing ones.

While Apex Legends developers are yet to acknowledge the issue with ALGS drops, EA Help did comment on the matter and shared a possible workaround that involves unlinking and relinking EA account with Twitch.

Another user suggested visiting the Twitch drops page and reclaiming the rewards.

We hope Respawn Entertainment and EA comment on the matter and find a way so players keep both ALGS drops. If and when they do, we will let you know so stay tuned for updates.
